Demographic TransitionBolivia is definitely in stage two. The birth rate greatly exceeds the death rate and replacement level is well above normal. The rate of natural increase is also fairly high, at almost 2%, which correlates with the graph above. The population pyramid also shows a spectacular amount of children, suggesting that many births were possible. The country cannot be in stage three because future graphs suggest that the magnitude of children do not decrease, and the country cannot be in stage one as the amount of children remain at a fair high; therefore, Bolivia must be in stage two.
