"Iran: Nuclear Program: Sanctions Take A Toll
Summary of the Article
Iran has failed to comply with the UN's command of halting nuclear construction in the Iranian State. The President has made a call for this -- the continuing of Nuclear Programs -- but with the combined forces of the Supreme Ruler of Iran and the sanctions made by UN against Iran, the popularity of Iran's President has dropped drastically and is taking a toll. The value of the Iranian currency continues dropping and, despite President's dissuasive words, riots broke out at currency-trading areas due to the loss of value.
Emotions Towards Article
It appears that Iran is in a very tough situation and UN is hurting the Iranian nation -- The supranational organization is just against the nuclear weapons creation, but they would choke the people in order to stop it? Surely there must be another way to keep civilians out of the situation. While it may be unpopular to storm in and stop the entire operation, a good leader is not always the most loved.
Article and Politics
Nuclear energy has always been an issue that has drawn attention of many states. Nuclear weapons have always been a danger to society -- and people as well. It is a dangerous thing to have, and as such, political action must be taken (carefully!) in order to contain any possible threat.
